Homestead Summer Session
The Homestead Summer Session blends the joy of summer camp with the focused attention to exploration and discovery through the Montessori approach to learning. Students spend their days outdoors—tending the farm, and exploring the forest, fields, and creek—while strengthening reading, writing, and math through STEM-based projects and hands-on experiences.
Through purposeful engagement and connection to the land, students extend, deepen, and weave their understanding together across the seasons. These sessions sustain the insights and curiosity developed during the traditional school year, opening a new world of concepts students engage in the natural beauty and abundance of a Homestead summer.
With our first sessions scheduled to begin Summer 2026 at our lovely 100-acre Glen Spey campus, our program will provide offerings for children 3 to 12 years old.
