Vidya Vanyo

Vidya Vanyo is an Afterschool Guide at Homestead School. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Penn State University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus on child and adolescent therapies. Vidya believes that learning is a collaborative process, and that she learns just as much from her students as they do from her.

She has experience supporting diverse learners with phonological reading and spelling skills, as well as navigating behavioral challenges. Outside of her work with students, Vidya enjoys spending time outdoors, creative arts and music, playing chess, and learning the German language.
