Randall Wright

Randall Wright is a science and technology educator, naturalist, and advocate for sustainable living. For more than 22 years, he has taught science and technology while encouraging students to explore and understand the natural world.

Randall lives with his wife and three children on a permaculture-based farm near Port Jervis, New York. Their off-grid, earthship-inspired home and largely self-sufficient lifestyle reflect his commitment to responsible land stewardship and community.

His work as a naturalist has taken him from studying orcas in Puget Sound to insects in Monteverde, Costa Rica. Randall holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and a Master’s degree in Secondary Science Education from Franklin Pierce University, along with New York State Professional Certifications in Secondary Science, Technology Education, and Special Education. Outside of teaching and farming, he enjoys spending time outdoors and making music with friends.
