One cold morning, just two days after a late February blizzard, an observant
student was strolling to class. "That snow pile looks like a dragon!"
she said.

the giant mound and applied water-based paint to create a lumbering dragon.
The art students' yearlong project, "Animals Through Time",
had taken on a new, monumental dimension.
