ANNUAL SKI CLUB
Every winter during January and February, the Homestead graders participate
in a weekly trip to Holiday Mt. for an afternoon of skiing. After two
sessions, most children advance to the "big hills" serviced
by chair lifts. Technique and ski safety are taught by Homestead staff
and a legion of parents who accompany the children up the lifts and down
the many slopes. Everyone is a "veteran skier" by the end of
the season!
